基于中国流行音乐歌词的语码转换修辞效果研究

Code-switching as Stylistic Rhetoric: Examples from Chinese Pop Music

从诗歌修辞手法的角度出发,通过研究中国流行音乐歌词里中文/英文语码转换的现象,调查语码转换作为修辞手段的可能性。研究表明语码转换可以在语音上通过尾韵、首韵、元音韵等修辞手段的使用增强歌词的韵律感,并在意义上通过同义词、对比和呼格等修辞手段的使用增强歌词所要表达的意义。

The aim of this paper is to prove that code-switching can be functioning as stylistic rhetoric through investigating code-switches in the lyrics of Chinese popular music. It was found that code-switching is a useful way employed by song writers to increase the rhythm of lyrics in sound patterning and help song writers to express specific meanings.
