The heat balance testing of pot calciners should be done in order to research their thermal characteristic and find out their practically operational status. The heat balance testing platform and inputs and outputs of pot calciners were introduced. Taking the heat balance testing and analysis of the newly - built pot calciners for example, the detail parameters were obtained,which can estimate the rational of the operational parameters, improve the cognizing capacity and operation level, and supervise production and management of pot calciners.
