According to CAST, Venezuela and China signed the satellite in-orbit acceptance review meeting minutes in early March 2013, which marks the formal in-orbit delivery of the Venezuelan remote sensing satel- , lite （VRSS-1） to Venezuela. The two parties recognized that the lifetime of VRSS-I started from the first image received, which was on October 1, 2012. CAST will deliver the ground application system according to the schedule of the civil work of the ground station in Venezuela. The Chinese party will further support the Venezuelan party on satellite operation and data application.
