China on June 6 publicized the first batch of images captured by High-resolution Satellite 1, its recently launched high-resolution Earth observation satellite. Released by the China National Space Administra- tion （CNSA）, the 13 images of Beijing, Shanghai, Yinchuan and Datong include 2m panchromatic, 8m multispectral, fusion of 2m panchromatic and 8m multispectral and 16m multispectral 4 types of pictures. The im- age of Datong was the first image obtained by the High-resolution Satellite 1 when it began to operate. Yinchuan imagery was a set of 2m panchromatic, 8m multispectral, fusion of 2m panchromatic and 8m multispectral and 16m multispectral images which showed the multi-mode working ability of the satellite.
