The history and current situation of the on-line corrosion monitoring technology are summarized, focusing on the entire process of the practical application of the on-line corrosion monitoring technology, including monitoring method selection, probe type selection, installation, monitoring system debugging, result analysis and database management, finally discussing some existing problems of the on- line corrosion monitoring technology in its application, and the future development direction of the on-line corrosion monitoring technology is prospected.
