Thoughts of deviant behavior in sociological research have experienced from the mainstream of positivism to the criti- cal constructivism, with each theoretical paradigm following their own ontology, epistemology and methodology. They have thus formed our present multi - level and multi - angle understanding and analysis of deviant behavior. In the study, we should try to avoid the fracture between the two, and to promote the bridging between them and their mutual development.
