Etiology of Short Stature in Children: An Analysis of 137 Cases

目的探讨矮身材儿童的病因,为临床诊断治疗提供参考依据。方法对137例矮身材儿童的临床资料进行回顾性分析。结果 137例矮身材患儿中:生长激素缺乏49例(35.8%),特发性矮小(包括家族性矮小)27例(19.7%),小于胎龄儿22例(16.1%),体质性青春发育延迟18例(13.1%),性早熟13例(9.5%),Turner综合征[6XX/45,XO 3例;46,xi(xq)和46 X,del(xp)各1例]5例(3.6%),颅内肿瘤(颅咽管瘤2例,垂体腺瘤1例)3例(2.2%)。结论儿童矮小症病因复杂,诊断需明确病因,及早治疗。

Objective To investigate, the causes of short stature in children, and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods Clinical data of 137 children with short stature were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 137 children, growth hormone deficiency was found in 49 （35.8%）, idiopathic short stature （including ional age in 22（16.1%）, constitutional delay of familial short stature）in 27（19.7%）, small for gestat- growth and puberty in 18（13.1%）, sexual precocity in 13（9.5%） Turner syndrome in 5（3.6%）[including 3 cases of 6XX/45,XO, 1 case of 46, xi（xq）, and 1 case of 46 X, del （xp）], and intracranial tumors in 3 （2.2%）（including 2 cases of craniopharyngioma and 1 case of pituitary adenomas）. Conclusion The causes of short stature are complicated in children. The diagnosis and treatment should be based on etiology.
