An overview of our current laws, regulations, standard systems as well as supervision and management conducted by appro- priate governmental agencies on relocation of industrial enterprisescontaminated sites in China ; which also addresses the major issues associ- ated with our existing laws and regulations, standard environmental soil protection system, and contaminated land management. Moreover, by improving laws and regulations, advancing standard system, enhancing management, and improving professional standards of supervisors, the problems of contaminated land management of industrialenterprises relocation can be resolved and thus ensure environmental safety.
