Bellow is the most famous contemporary American novelist, his novel The Adventures ofAugie Marchi ushered in the initial reputation for him. Some scholars believed that Bellow made The A dventures of A ugie Marchi full of comic colors, some scholars believed that the works is pessimistic generalizations. This paper argues that the writing intention of the fiction is ＂uncertain＂, Bellow tried to interpret real life by this ＂uncertainty＂, showing the nature of the world, to express his unique understanding about the people and the world.
