To Deal with Serious Culture Lost: the Birth of New Chinese Design Style

当今中国家具市场上的传统家具出现了一股过度装饰、样式复杂的设计思潮。针对这一怪诞的设计风潮,作者从东西方文化的回应入手,通过对西方家具风格的演变和当今中国家具怪诞风潮产生的背景的分析,指出我们应对这种深度迷失的文化进行认真反思;同时也为新中式家具设计提供了许多有益的思路。

There is a design trend of over decoration and pursuing complicated styles in Chinese furniture markets. To deal with this wrong design trend, starting with discussing of eastern and western culture, by analyzing the evolution of styles of westem furniture and background of the wrong design trend in Chinese furniture markets, it is been pointed out that we should reflect this wrong design trend seriously in this paper, and, at the same time, this paper puts forward some valuable ideas for the birth of new Chinese design style.
