在现代园林中,草坪已成了不可缺少的部分,但由于自然因素和管理不善等原因,致使一些草坪出现退化现象,如何进行草坪更新复壮,就成为园林工作者们关心的一大问题。草坪植物虽然有较强的分蘖能力,但长时间后,草坪植物茎叶会枯黄老化,根系增加,加之践踏使用后土壤板结、不透气、杂草侵入、病虫害发生,致使草坪质量下降,失去其原有应用功能。若要保持草坪经久不衰,需要经常进行复壮更新。
