Preliminary study on 8 watermelon varieties

摘要 文章对8个西瓜品系的农艺性状(果型、皮色、瓢色、口感、粒色)、果实产量(单果重)和品质性状(皮厚、糖度)进行比较研究。结果表明:参试品系905的单果重偏高,肉细、松、含砂、汁多、口感佳、风味好,是较有潜力的品系,值得进一步试验和示范。 The agronomic characters including fruit shape,skin color,flesh color,taste and grain color,fruit yield character namely single fruit weight and fruit quality characters including skin thickness and sugar degree of 8 watermelon varieties were studied.The results showed that single fruit yield of 905 was higher,meat was thin,loose,sandy and juicy,taste was good,and flavor was also good.So 905 was more potential varieties which was worth further study and demonstration.
