Pharmacognostical identification of Tricyrtis maculata (D.Don) Machride, including its gross appearance, histology and characteristics of the powdered stem and leaf were studied and reported.The specific features for its identification were the structure of its transverse section and non glandular cilia on the upper and lower surface of its leaves.
