指纹图像奇异点提取算法的研究与实现

Research and Implementation of Extraction Algorithm Based on Fingerprint Image Singular Point

指纹图像特征点提取的数量与准确度直接影响到指纹特征匹配效率,在分析指纹图像特征的基础上,提出了基于方向场均值的Poincare索引算法,阐述了算法的基本模型、表示方法与具体实现过程。经实验证明,采用该算法能快速、准确地提取指纹图像的奇异点,对各种图像具有较好的适应性。

The quantity and accuracy of the fingerprint image feature point extraction effects the efficiency of the fingerpirnt feature matching directly.In the foundation of the analysis of the fingerprint image feature,this paper proposes the algorithm of Poincare index based on the mean value of direction field.It details the basic model,expression methods and the implementation process of the algorithm.Experimental results proof that,this algorithm can extract fingerprint image singular point rapidly and accurately,and it has high adaptability for all kinds of images.
