摘要
大学英语教学是高等教育的重要组成部分,其培养目标、内容和方式直接影响人才的综合素质与水平,更影响我国经济发展的总体进程。传统的英语教学模式以"一刀切"和"教师权威性"为主要特征,严重束缚了学生英语应用能力的提高,成为全社会关注的改革焦点问题。
College English teaching is an important part of higher education,whose training goal,content and methods directly affect talents' comprehensive quality and level.The traditional English teaching mode features "one size fits all" and "authoritativeness of teachers",which seriously hinder the improvement of students' English application ability.Therefore,it becomes the focus of reform which concerns the whole society.
