Sweet Potato Residue and Its Use

红薯渣主要是淀粉厂和红薯粉厂将淀粉提出后的残渣,我国的红薯渣除了极少部分用于动物饲喂外,几乎全部被废弃,对周边及临近地区的环境造成严重的污染。通过对红薯渣的营养成分分析可知,红薯渣中含有丰富的纤维素和少量未完全提取的淀粉。合理处理的红薯渣是优质的饲料资源,有很好的开发利用价值。

Sweet potato residue is the remains of sweet potato extracted starch, and mainly from starch factory and sweet potato flour mill. Domestic sweet potato residue is usually discarded, except rarely used as animal feed, which results in serious air and water pollution to surrounding environment and adjacent areas. Sweet potato residue contains abundance cellulose and a small amount of starch, and it will be a quality feed resources and be worth developing, if treated reasonably.
