1977年,由广东人民出版社出版的"上山下乡知识青年文艺创作丛书",是对海南知青文学的最后一次大检阅。面对业已穷途末路的知识青年上山下乡运动,作品对海南岛知识青年上山下乡运动进行了狂野式的歌唱,然而,从表现的内容来看,则是知青文学题材的变异。激昂的音调,歇斯底里的呐喊,是对中国知青运动的没落挽歌和知青时期海南知青文学哀婉的绝唱。

＂The Series of Writings by Educated Youths Sent to the Mountains and Countryside＂ published by Guangdong People Press in 1977 was an ultimate review of educated youth literature in Hainan. Faced with the cornered campaign to send educated youths to the mountains and countryside, the works spoke highly of such a campaign in Hainan, but it was a variation of the theme on educated youth literature as far as its content was concerned. As a matter of fact, the works is an elegy for the decline of the Campaign of Sending Educated Youths to the Countryside in China as well as a final pathetic song for Hainan educated youth literature during the educated Youth Campaign.
