软腭辅音与硬腭过渡音的亲和性--一项语音演化研究

The Compatibility of Velar Consonants and Palatal Transitions:A Study on Phonetic Evolution

汉语方言的材料表明,软腭辅音与硬腭过渡音具有亲和性,例如在k-等声母后面衍生-i-介音比其他声母更常见。本文用语音实验证明从软腭辅音到元音之间的自然过渡音是-i-。软腭声母与-i-介音的纽带正是-i-,即自然的过渡音转化成介音(一种具音位性的过渡音)。本文还据此对汉语语音史上的两种现象提出了新的解释。这是从演化语言学"自然变异-音系选择"的角度进行的研究。

Thedata of Chinese dialects indicate that velar consonants and palatal transitions are compatible. For instance, it＇s easier for the vowels to get a medial[-i] when combined with the consonant [ k]. This paper proves with evidences from phonetic experiments that the natural transition from velar consonant to vowel is -i-. When the natural transition transforms into a medial, it becomes phonematic. Based on this theory, the paper provides new explanation for two phenomena in the history of Chinese phonology. It＇s a study on phonetic evolution from the perspective of natural variation and phonological selection.
