徐大椿慎用温补思想浅析

Analysis on the Xu Dachun's Viewpoint of Using the Warm and Nourished Herbs

徐大椿临证主张慎用温补治法,从其多种著作中可以归纳出清代温补之风盛行之因有:前代医家的影响、医者乏术或无德、患者喜补而恶攻。徐大椿辨治中风、痧暑夹食、痢疾、咳嗽等证皆体现了慎用温补的学术思想。据此还反映出他对"大医"的要求:除具有高尚医德外,临证必须辨病辨证,据病证而施治。

Xu Dachun asserts to be cautious of using the warm and nourished herbs.The reasons for the prevalence of the warm and nourished herbs using in the Qing Dynasty are as follows from the account in his books.To begin with,the influence of the previous gen eration doctors exists.Secondly,the treatment level of doctor is low or the medical ethics of doctor is poor.Finally,the patients like the therapeutic method of using the nourished herbs and dislike that of eliminating pathogens.It can be shown from the different treatment according to the different syndrome on the diseases of apoplexy,heatstroke,dysentery and cough,etc.that Xu Dachun asserts to be cau tious of using the warm and nourished herbs.In addition,it can be seen that the Xu Dachun＇s standard of a good doctor who must have the noble medical ethics and treat differently on the diseases according to the different syndrome.
