摘要
《语法哲学》是叶斯柏森的代表作,作为当今世界最重要的语言学著作之一,历来被国内外学者引用和研究。然而该书的重点——叶氏所倡导的普遍语法——却一直被忽视或没有被正确认识。本文首先全面阐述和呈现叶氏的普遍语法思想,然后探讨其与当今语言学研究的关系,特别是与乔姆斯基普遍语法以及语言共性研究的关系。
Written by Otto Jespersen, The Philosophy of Grammar is one of the world＇s most significant works in linguistic studies and has been cited by many researchers and scholars. However, the focus of the book, Jespersen＇s Universal Grammar, has been either neglected or misunderstood by many. This paper first presents Jespersen＇s Universal Grammar in detail, and then explores the relationship between Jespersen＇s Universal Grammar and some current linguistic theories, especially the Universal Grammar of Noam Chomsky and research on language universals.
