摘要
O-羧甲基壳聚糖(O-carboxymethyl chitosan,O-CMC)是在壳聚糖分子上引入羧甲基而形成的一种壳聚糖衍生物,具有良好的水溶性、成膜性、保湿性和极强的金属螯合能力。采用氯乙酸法对壳聚糖进行改性,制备不同取代度(degrees of substitution,DS)的O-羧甲基壳聚糖,以戊二醛为交联剂制备O-羧甲基壳聚糖水凝胶,探究O-羧甲基壳聚糖取代度对该水凝胶在pH分别为1.2,2.8,4.5和6.8缓冲液中溶胀性的影响,同时还研究了pH对水凝胶溶胀率的影响。结果表明,在同样的pH缓冲溶液中,O-羧甲基壳聚糖水凝胶的溶胀度随着取代度的增加而增大;取代度为0.781的水凝胶在pH 6.8和1.2缓冲液中溶胀率大,在pH 2.8和4.5缓冲液中溶胀率小。
Chitosan was modified with carboxyl to produce O-carboxymethyl chitosan (O-CMC) which was a kind of chitosan derivatives with good water solubility, film-forming property, moisture-retention ability and metal chelating ability. O-CMC with various degrees of substitution (DS) was prepared by reacting chitosan with chloroacetic acid. The effect of DS on the swelling characteristics of the O-carboxymethyl chitosan hydrogel cross-linked by glutaraldehyde at pH 1.2, 2.8, 4.5 and 6.8 buffer solution was studied and the effect of pH on the swelling characteristics of the hydrogel was investigated. Results indicated that the swelling ratio increased with DS values at the same pH and the hydrogel with DS of 0.781 had significant swelling characteristics at pH 6.8 and 1.2 buffer solution while it had small swelling characteristics at pH 2.8 and 4.5 buffer solution.
