HOUSING, THE SUBSTANCE OF OUR CITIES

OBSERVATION AND DEBATE This book claims neither to re-write the history of housing, nor limit itself to criticism of the architecture of housing. Our firm of architects is interested in history as the pulse of contemporary society and in criticism as a device for the making of future projects. This publication and the exhibition it accompanies seek to show the importance and result of architects＇ choices and their involvement in changing our societies via housing. It is therefore a chronicle of how housing in Europe has been produced over the last century.
