History and geography were two subjects that I would do anything to miss at school in Iran, and then in the United States. They were taught to us as a collection of dates and data. Architecture, however, made me interested in them because I could see them as possible generators of the future. The Google Earth generation apprehends geography in the form of screen shots that are an easily consumable commodity. No need to get on an aeroplane to see the Earth from the sky anymore...
