摘要
住房：城市的物质不仅仅是几年前我们在巴黎城市和建设中心组织的展览标题,也是两个想法的拼贴。一个是勒·柯布西耶的,另一个是雷姆·库哈斯的;一个是反对杂乱无章的拓展,一个拥护堵塞;然而两个想法都支持居住密度。只有在居住密度不大的时候,城市才是可爱的。大都市的条件都是无名的复杂关系——在城市里,没有人想被人认出来（除了在洛杉矶这样的省会城市）。
Housing： Substance of Our Cities is not only the title of the exhibition that we organised at the Pavilion de I＇Arsenal in Paris a few years ago, but also a collage of two ideas. One of Le Corbusier, the other of Rem Koolhaas; one anti-sprawl, the other pro-congestion; both proponents of density.
