Gather Parts into a Whole Became the Pilot District —— Creation Notes of Library in West Campus of the Lanzhou University of Technology

本文通过介绍兰州理工大学图书馆方案建筑设计的理念,阐述了如何从项目总体规划的特点出发,采用化零为整的设计手法,通过单一而综合的巨构建筑的形态,将所有纷杂的功能整体统筹,进行建筑设计的新方向。

This paper introduces the design idea of Lanzhou University of Technology library, and expounds how to proceed from characteristics of project planning, using the design technique gathered parts into a whole, with a single integrated giant building pattern, co-ordinates all the complex functions into a whole, to do the new direction of architectural design.
