语境思想是刘勰《文心雕龙》语用思想体系的组成部分。在言伴语境和言外语境各要素的认知上,刘勰认为语用主体在创作中受到语境各要素的影响和制约,并采取相应的话语策略;而在"意象"语境的设立和解读上,刘勰指出"立象尽意"的"象"是语用主体设立的"意象"语境,语用双方通过"意象"语境的正向设立和反向推理,助推言语交际活动的顺利完成。

The contextual thinking is a part of Liu Xie＇s pragmatic thinking system in Wexin Diaolong. In the perception of the elements of para-context and extra-context,the pragmatic subject would be affected and limited by the elements,and take the corresponding discourse strategy during the process of literary creation. Also, on the establishment and interpretation of the image context,he points out that both sides of the talk must set up and reverse reasoning the image context given by the pragmatic subject in order to smoothly complete the verbal communication.
