In the perspective of optimal relevance in the theory of correlation,the Japanese translation of two-part allegorical saying should make use of various translation strategies to find the optimal relevance according to cognitive context in Japanese and Chinese culture, thus to create the best contextual effect for the sake of enabling target readers to accurately understand the semantic and cultural connotation of two-part allegorical saying.
