Role and Function of Forest Reservation in Ecological Construction of Fanchang County

繁昌县从封山育林和植树造林为入手,狠抓县域森林保护,着重体现在对自然更新的林区实行封山禁伐、退耕还林。以封山育林的现实意义为工作出发点,提高其地位,发挥其作用,制订短期和中期目标任务,落实措施,夯实林业发展基础,使全县生态环境得到明显的改善和提升,取得重要的经济价值和良好的社会效益。

Starting with forest reservation and reforestation ,Fanchang County paid close attention to the forest protection ,which mainly reflected in the closing hillsides and returning farmland to forest of forest natural regeneration. Starting from the significance of the work for forest reservation, the government improved its position,paid its role,made short-and-medium-term objectives,implemented the measures,strengthened forestry development foundation, thus the ecological environment had been improved obviously.
