自20世纪70年代开始,国外许多研究人员分别从语篇分析、语料库分析以及语用学等角度对教师课堂话语进行了研究,由于语料库的研究样本容量具有真实性的特点,世界各国对英语课堂话语的研究越来越多地和语料库结合起来。了解英语课堂话语语料库建构的背景,以及国内外英语课堂话语语料库的建设情况,对提高英语教学效率很有裨益。

Since 1970s, a number of foreign researchers have studied teachers＂ discourse from text analysis, corpus analysis and pragmatics. As the studying samples of the corpus have a large capacity and the characteristic of authenticity, more and more studying of English class discourse has been combined with corpus throughout the world. It is helpful for enhancing the efficiency of English language teaching to know the background of the con- struction, the developments of English Classbank Corpus at home and abroad.
