摘要 爱尔兰共和国中学教育阶段中学教育阶段的过渡年(Transition Year)教育,简称TY教育,其教育特点、教育目标、课程设置等方面,体现了爱尔兰中学TY教育的特点和优势所在。爱尔兰TY教育与中国高中一年级教育在教育阶段、目标、课程设置、评价方法、教师角色以及教学方法等各个方面存在差异。对我国中等教育的启发是:关注素质教育,强调实践性学习,重视培养创新意识,建立多元评价体系以及重视职业发展和终身教育。 Transition Year, TY for short, is a segment of middle school in Ireland. TY education embodies some special characteristics and advantages of Irish secondary education, such as in its teaching features, teaching objective and courses design. There are a lot of differences between TY education and grade one education in Chi- na senior high school, including the clarification of educational stages, teaching aim, courses design, methods of evaluation, teachers" role and teaching methods. The paper will enlighten Chinese educationists a lot, especially in focusing on education for all - around development, in emphasizing practice during the process of learning, in val- uing development of creative spirit, in setting up multiple evaluation system, in stressing development of vocation and lifelong education.
