From the aspects of choosing test wave form,test load,test port,power supply source before decoupling network and measuring method,etc.,the author analyses the major factors influencing the lightning electromagnetic pulse test,and describes the above through an example. The author suggests that key test requirements should be added in formulating standards of lightning electromagnetic pulse test for railway signaling products,operable test method should be developed also.
