After analyzing the structure and working principle of type CTJ2000 comprehensive test bench,the author explains the characteristics and its difference from older type. According to the requirements in JJG（railway） 181-2004＂Calibration Regulation of Test Instrument of the Train Running Monitoring and Recording Equipment＂, the author introduces how to calibrate the test equipment for the new type of train running monitoring and recording device and the concerns.
