Research on the Development and Evaluation of Libraries in Korea

介绍韩国公共图书馆、大学图书馆、专业图书馆的发展情况,重点分析了韩国公共图书馆从2002年到2009年在服务资源、专业人员和经费预算等方面的发展变化;分析了韩国小型图书馆、残疾人图书馆、军营图书馆、监狱图书馆、儿童图书馆等各类型图书馆的发展变化;最后探讨了韩国各类型图书馆评价及其与我国第五次公共图书馆评价在指标体系方面的异同,提出了促进我国图书馆发展的建议。

Based on a general introduction of public libraries, university libraries and special libraries in Korea, the paper makes an analysis on the development of public libraries of Korea especially within the period from 2002 to 2009 and within the aspects of service resources, human resources and budget. It studies the development of the various types of library in Korea including small--size libraries, libraries for disabilities, libraries in Army, prison libraries and children＇s libraries. Finally, it discusses the evaluation of library in Korea and the differences of the evaluation index system between Korea and China so as to give recommendation for the library development in China.
