摘要
以长江沿岸低品位石英砂为主要原料,采用真空烧结制备石英多孔陶瓷材料。研究结果表明:采用真空烧结能够成功制备石英多孔陶瓷,多孔陶瓷材料烧结温度为1 050℃;制备的陶瓷密度为1.267g/cm3,孔隙度为51.6%,抗压强度为3.184MPa,且气孔较小,分布较均匀,外形完好。在相同的烧结温度和保温时间条件下,真空烧结的陶瓷孔隙度明显比大气烧结的小,密度和抗压强度则比大气烧结的要高。真空烧结的陶瓷表面更加致密,孔结构排列更平整,微观孔结构更加完整。当对石英多孔陶瓷材料的力学性能要求不高时,优先选用空气烧结;反之,则优先选用真空烧结。
The quartz sand porous ceramics were prepared by vacuum sintering using the low grade quartz sand of Yangtze River waterfront as raw material, which lay technology foundation to develop new heat insulating materials. The results show that the quartz porous ceramics with density of 1. 267g/cm^3 , porosity of 51.6% and pressive strength of 3. 184MPa can be prepared successfully by vacuum sintering at sintering temperature of 1 050℃. The porous ceramics have less pore, homogeneous pore distribution and intact appearance. The properties of porous ceramics by vacuum sintering are superior to that by atomospheric pressure sintering under the same sintering temperature and soaking time. The atmospheric pressure sintering method is suitable for the materials with not high mechanical property requirement, however, the vacuum sintering method is more suitable the materials with higher mechanical properties.
