In the paper, the causes of broken bridge prestressed concrete pipe pile foundation （hereinafter being referred to as bridge pipe pile foundation） have been systematically analyzed from design, construction, production and other aspects, and the relevant prevention and treatment measures to reduce the probability of broken bridge pipe pile foundation have been pointed out, which can provide reference for the design and construction of the bridge prestressed concrete pipe pile foundation in the future.
