The Study of the Authors of Stone Inscription Poems in Guilin

桂林石刻诗歌的作者可分为五类:为官之人、文人墨客、佛道中人、桂林人、无名者。就创作量而言,以前三种为要;就为官之人而言,以到桂任职者为主。来桂任职诸官员中,又有到桂上任与贬谪至此之别。因人生经历不同,对于桂林这方山水,所选取的角度,所表达的情感也各不相同,但他们都用赋诗刻诗这种方式传唱了桂林山水,丰富了桂林石刻诗歌的内容。山水浸润了他们,他们也成就了山水。

The authors of Guilin stone inscription poems can be divided into five categories： officials, literati, the Buddhist and Taoist, the native and the nameless. As for the number of the creation, it mainly depended on the first three. As for the officials, they were mainly the ones who served in Guilin. There was difference between the appointed and the relegated in these officials. Because of their different life experience, they se- lected different angles and expressed different emotions, but they all wrote poems and then engraved them to depict Guilin＇s scenery and enrich the content of Guilin＇s stone inscription poems. The landscape influenced them, and they also made the landscape.
