章学诚文道观简论

A Brief Comment on Zhang Xuecheng's Views of Literary Works and Ethics

文道关系是中国古代文论中一个极其重要而又相当复杂的命题,历代才人惠士对其众说纷纭,莫衷一是。清乾嘉时期著名文史大家章学诚杂取诸家学说,兼融己意,在对文与道别具只眼的论述基础之上,提出了自己的文道观。章学诚的文道观袭古创新,成一家之言,对今人有许多启迪和借镜意义。

Relationships between literary works and ethics was a very important and complex proposmon m ancient Chinese literary theories ,and it was discussed by talents during the past dynasties but unable to get an a- greement. Zhang Xuecheng,the famous litterateur and historian in Qianjia period of Qing Dynasty put forward his own views on literary works and ethics. Inheriting the old traditions while having innovation, Zhang Xuecheng＇ s views formed his own doctrine, and enlightened the people nowadays.
