差异思想作为一个重要的哲学范畴,受到西方著名哲学家和马克思主义经典作家的关注,他们在对差异进行哲学思考的过程中寻找人类的安身立命之本。与"主体"原则相对,差异思想的核心原则是"他者"原则,力求以突出差异、尊重"他者"来平衡总体观念的强势,在差异多样与总体共识之间寻求协调和平衡。差异思想亦是当下一种建立在人与人的分离基础之上对生存问题的价值观照,是人类社会及其个体发展进步的内在动力。

As an important philosophical category,difference thought has been the focus of western philosophers and Marxist writers.They are exploring the cause which makes human being exist while thinking about the difference philosophically.As opposed to the principle of SUBJECT,the core of the principle of DIFFERENCE is THE OTHER,which aims at highlighting the difference and show respect to THE OTHER and getting coordination and equilibrium between varieties and consensus.Difference thought is also the epistemological premise of consciousness of survival value based on the separation of the people,and is the internal motivation of society and individual.
