To explore the immune effect of the currently used foot-and-mouth dis- ease virus(FMDV) type andsian I bivalent inactivated vaccine of bulls, We choosed a breeding oxen farm to carry out the tracking detection of the immune anti- bodies after vaccination. We gathered the serums of the immunized oxen every two months to detect the immune antibodies by liquid phase blocking ELISA in a period of 17 months, Meanwhile, according to the results of the detection of antibodies, we can scientifically evaluate the protection period aim to different kinds of bulls which injected by the same vaccine strain from a company, and investivate whether the immune antibodies have some relationship with the breed or age of the immunized bulls. The results showed that the antibodies levels with no relationship with the age of the bull; The immune antibodies level of type is better than typesian I; The immune response to the vaccine is different due to the genetic diverisity of different kinds of bulls, whereas the H$ bulls had the lowest protection level after vaccination. Overall, the protection period can be maintained in 10 months after vac cination of type and sian I bivalent inactivated vaccine of bulls.
