Investigation and Analysis of Elderly Medication Item Description in Package Inserts of Cardiovascular Drugs Commonly Used in A Hospital

目的了解和分析目前市面上常见的心血管药品说明书中老年人用药描述,为完善和修订心血管药品说明书提供参考依据。方法收集医院168份常用心血管药品说明书,摘录和统计有关老年人用药项目的表述。结果 125份(74.4%)说明书标注有"老年患者用药"项,其中51份(40.8%)标注老年人具体用量;33份(26.4%)标注酌情减量;27份(21.6%)标注尚不明确;14份(11.2%)标注老年人慎用。标注有"老年人药代动力学"仅16份(占9.5%)。不同剂型和国内、外不同厂家的老年人用药标注情况有差异(P<0.01)。结论心血管药品说明书在老年人用药方面描述不足,国家相关部门应加强对心血管药品说明书的安全监管,完善说明书的内容,确保用药安全有效。

Objective To investigate and analyze the elderly medication item description in package inserts of cardiovascular drugs commonly used in the hospital, so as to provide reference for the revision of cardiovascular drugs package inserts. Methods A total of 168 package inserts of commonly used cardiovascular drugs were collected, and the description of the elderly medication item were extracted and analyzed statistically. Results The marked rate of usage for elderly was 74.4%, in which the marked rate of ＂specific dosage＂, and ＂dosage discount＂, and ＂not clear＂, and ＂use with caution＂ were 40. 8%, 26. 4%, 21. 6%, and 11. 2%, respectively. The marked rate of ＂the elderly pharmacokinetics＂ was only 9. 5%. The description of the elderly medication item of different dosage form or manufacturers at home and abroad had significant difference（ P 〈 0.01 ）. Conclusion The description of cardiovascular drugs use for the elderly is not detailed; the relevant governmental departments should strengthen security control and revise package inserts to ensure drug use safely and effectively
