This article briefly discusses the role and importance of the slag in the smelting process.And summarized the research of the four,five,six and more than six yuan metallurgical properties of calcium aluminate slag.Finally,the high alkalinity,the high element calcium aluminate slag metallurgical properties should be strengthened in the future.
