Known as the ＂the heartbreakers of the ancient＂,Qin Guan was one of the most important Ci-poets in Song Dynasty.And among all his Ci-poems,4 Ci-poems On Wanghaichao were very special.It was due to his unfortunate and suffering fate and with a sentimental heart,this talented poet created these four Ci-poems,among which the former three were described about meditating on the past and concerning about the present situation,while the last one was on the melancholy feeling to express love and affection.All were characterized with repeated expressions to stress graceful and restrained image and create a melancholy mood with the skillful application of meaningful words in complicated structures in terms of artistic features.The study of its writing background,the main content and the artistic feature on these 4 poems will provide a reference and inspiration in the analysis of the other Ci-poems by Qin Guan.
