就建构式语法的基础,方法,基本概念和主要特点对结构式语法进行了概述,并评价其优势和弱点。尽管建构式语法填补乔姆斯基的空缺,提供了语言学研究语言本质的新认识,但构式语法不能代替乔姆斯基的理论。

Constructional Grammar,a newly-established framework,has gained increasing attention in the field of linguistics.In this paper,an overview of Constructional Grammar has firstly been indicated in the following perspectives：foundation,methodology,basic ideas and major features.The evaluation of its strength and weakness has been preceded.Constructional Grammar cannot replace Chomsky＇s theory though it fills the vacancy of Chomsky＇s theory,and provides a new insight for linguistic researchers to explore the nature of language.
