The paper deals with 1025 species of scale insects,belonging to 248 genara in 13 families,damaging the ornamental plants in China and teir damage including the feeding habit of omnivory,monophagy and oligophagy.The dishtributive characteristics of scale insects in the Northeast China are discussed.
