The characteristics about the breech lock heat exchangers, its special channel constructions and force analysis of channel main spare parts were introduced. The design steps and calculation methods of the breech lock heat exchangers main spare parts were proposed, and some design issues needed attention were pointed out to provide some reference for this type of heat exchanger design.
