摘要 运用投入定位距离函数将16家银行全要素生产率(TFP)增长率分解为技术进步、技术效率变化效应和规模效应,并对全要素生产率影响因素进行系统的研究,发现:技术进步对于全要素生产率增长贡献最大,技术效率和规模效应负相关;贷款市场上,相对市场势力,全要素生产率显著负相关;存款市场上,相对市场势力和全要素生产率不存在显著相关关系;存款市场,国有银行市场势力高于股份制银行,贷款市场刚好相反。 Employing a stochastic distance function approach, this article analyzes the impact of banking reforms on technical efficiency and total factor productivity (TFP) change in 16 banks. This study further decomposes TFP change into three compo- nents including scale component, technical change component and technical efficiency change component, and it empirically ex- amines market power factors of productivity changes. The main conclusions are as follows : Overall, WSOBs experienced a little higher growth in TFP (5.77% per annum) compared to the Joint - equity banks (5.45% per annum). Technical change increa- ses substantially their TFP while technical efficiency change plays a negative role in their steady TFP growth. Scale component plays a very limited role in affecting TFP changes for both the WSOBs and joint - equity banks. In loan market, relative market power is significantly in negative correlation with total factor productivity while having no correlation in deposit market. The state - owned bank has higher market power than the joint - stock bank deposit market, and the opposite is true of loan market.
