A retrospective review of combined rapid maxillary expansion and protraction facemask in the treatment of maxillary hypoplasia

临床常见因上颌骨发育不足引起的骨性Ⅲ类错,上颌前方牵引联合快速扩弓可以有效地治疗该类错畸形。本文从临床应用、临床疗效、复发与保持等几个方面对上颌前方牵引联合快速扩弓治疗上颌发育不足患者的报道作一综述。

Skeletal Class m malocclusion caused by maxillary deficiency is not unusual in clinical cases. Combined rapid maxillary expansion and protraction facemask can provide a viable treatment result for this kind of malocclusion. The present study reviewed the clinical application, treatment stability, relapse and post-retention of Skeletal Class Ⅲ malocclusion.
