This paper summarizes the development characteristics and planning strategy in the process of rapid urbanization of Zhongshan new countryside, the problem of sustainable development of village planning thinking from planning management and public participation perspective. Exploring the problem in rural area urbanization of Zhongshan city from urban and rural integration perspective, points out that the key work in rural areas after Zhongshan city village planning full coverage of urban planning from the aspects of coordination management mechanism, and promoting the fair distribution of the village, the village public service facilities to protect the village landscape features.
