Analyses the problems existed in the old air conditioning system in a workshop, including higher temperature and poor air quality. Adopts horizontal displacement ventilation in the reformed system design, which proves to work well. Presents the design experience and considers it advantageous to use the displacment ventilation air conditioning system in large space workshops. Puts forward some issues need to be solved in developing this mode.
