摘要
为探索大学生一般能力倾向的发展特点,拓展一般能力倾向成套测验在高校就业指导工作中的应用,测查了1022名大学生,并与627名中学生进行了比较。研究发现一般能力倾向从中学到大学呈现波浪式上升趋势;不同类型、专业的大学生各项能力倾向均呈现不同特点;女生呈现言语能力发展的"稳定优势",男生则具有多种能力发展的"扩展优势"。研究认为不能套用中学生常模,有必要开发和拓展大学生常模,使该项测验成为大学生就业指导工作的重要工具。
To assess the development of work-related skills among college students,the present study gives General Aptitude Test Battery(GATB) test to 1022 college students and 627 middle school students in China.It is found that students’general aptitude grows fluctuantly from middle school to college.What’s more,students majoring in varied fields or from varied types of schools differ considerably in their GATB scores.From middle school to college,female students maintain their supremacy in linguistic ability,while male students are able to develop and excel in various other skills.It is necessary to develop specific GATB norms for college students,which could be a useful tool for career counselors at college.
